APS Review: Special Requirement for Chinese Students
Students with mainland Chinese high school or university credentials applying to German universities typically need to pass APS review. APS review includes: submitting transcripts, diplomas, and other documentation for review; in some cases requiring a subject knowledge interview (~30–45 minutes); receiving an APS Certificate upon passing review (valid 2 years). The entire APS review cycle takes approximately 3–6 months — advance planning is essential.
