In biomedical research, molecular mechanism studies are abundant. Many graduate theses fall into this category. Besides specialized journals for specific research subjects, most such articles are published in journals under the JCR category of BIOCHEMISTRY & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY.

Today, we have compiled 40 journals in the IF 5-6 range, providing precise impact factors, quartiles, total publications (articles and reviews) from 2021 to present, Chinese-authored publications, and Chinese author ratios. Data is current as of November 29, 2021.
We have color-coded journals that are particularly friendly to Chinese researchers (high annual Chinese publication volume) as a reference for your submissions. For journals with low total publication volume and low Chinese acceptance, we advise against submitting when you need rapid publication.
The ranking is based on friendliness, not a recommendation for submission. For example, International Journal of Molecular Sciences (MDPI) publishes over 10,000 articles annually. Although not yet on any warning list, it is considered a "water journal" in China.
